Burnham-on-Crouch volunteer crew welcomes RNLI Chairman

On Friday 31 May the volunteers of Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI were honoured to welcome RNLI Chairman, Stuart Popham CMG to their presentation evening.

Mr. Popham presented awards to dedicated volunteers:-

Senior Helm, Tony Lacey for 30 years service to Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI. Tony is the first recipient of this award.

Sir Richard Rycroft in recognition of his invaluable service to the crew, station and volunteers of Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI.

Cannon Lionel Webber in appreciation of his dedicated support and invaluable contribution to Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI.

The station offered their congratulations to all recipients and a ‘thank you’ to Mr. Popham for finding the time to visit and for presenting the awards.

Following the presentations, Mr. Popham was shown around the station house by Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI’s Lifeboat Operations Manager (LOM), David Nicholls.
