Another training exercise for the volunteers of Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI

Hot on the heels of their night navigation exercise, the volunteers of Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI were out training again.

This time on their D Class lifeboat, the training session took them to the mouth of the River Roach for some rough weather handling duly assisted by a South Westerly wind and a strong spring tide.

Upon completion of this exercise they proceeded to Bridgemarsh for local knowledge familiarisation and slow speed manoeuvres training.

Training sessions ensures our volunteer crew are ready for whenever the next call comes but they can only do this through donations from our valued supporters.
