Volunteers from Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI tasked to assemble

All go again on 28 July for the volunteers of Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI when they were tasked to assemble at 1.07pm.

Upon investigation it was found that an e-perb had been activated and the signal placed it within a 15 mile radius of Mayland.

Further investigation located the boat in the Marina yard with the boat owner confirming that they had run a test procedure on the e-perb to check it was working.

Once it was confirmed that everyone was safe and well and the serial number of the device matched, the RNLI volunteers from Burnham-on-Crouch were stood down at 1.41pm.
